 HELLO Fashionistas! I am SO excited about fall’s most popular trend: Metallic Tattoos. These tatts were super HOT during the summertime, especially at music festivals (Coachella, anyone?). Thank goodness this trend is sneaking into autumn, because I’m nothing less than obsessed. I went out last weekend and put this little geometric design on the inside of my forearm (see below). So in love I wish it were real! The four tattoo packs pictured above were purchased from A.C. Moore and super duper inexpensive. They are so incredibly shiny, metallic and so much fun. They bring back a little piece of my childhood, but in a slightly more fashionable way 😉 I think i will wear the feather design next!

Hello Fashionistas! I just wanted to share with you another amazing find that I came across during the Macy’s Friends & Family Sale earlier this year. (PS although the sale is over, I believe the next one occurs in the Fall at some point, so keep an eye out for that!). I was in dire need of a gold watch and since I’ve been wearing gold accents a lotttt lately, I figured that a gold watch would suit my style fabulously. I heard about the Friends & Family sale going on at Macy’s and naturally started browsing. I stumbled across this Marc by Marc Jacobs watch that i fell in LOVE with. BTW, originally $200 and I paid $150! Not too shabby. Considering I was going to purchase a gold watch regardless, I thought…why not buy it now and save $50?! That’s huge. That’s a tank of gas, or two!

 If you are in the market for a gold watch, or any watch for that matter, I would suggest probing your local department stores for some awesome coupons or seasonal events. Don’t be impatient! I would certainly rather wait a week or two to save money on a pricey purchase, than be impatient and end up spending more!

URBAN DECAY NAKED 3 PALETTE – REVIEW

Finally, I took the initiative to purchase the ever-so-popular and HIGHLY anticipated NAKED 3 PALETTE. This is the first Naked palette of my collection, so I am probably a lot more excited than most. I utilized this palette on several occasions, and have received COUNTLESS compliments on how my eye makeup looked. I honestly owe it all to this compact palette. The colors and quality are through the roof. They are ideal, sexy, and feminine, and the rose-gold tones are superb. NEWS FLASH everyone: fall fashions are just around the corner. As fall approaches, it’s that time again to transition your everyday summer style, to more autumn-like threads. Yes everyone, this means no more shorts, crop tops, or sandals. As immensely sad as it may seem that summer is coming to a halt, I CANNOT wait to sport more cooler & deeper tones that embody the fall months.

Above is an awesome transitional ensemble that is well suited for the end of summer. The leather pants provide more coverage as the cooler temps dwindle in, yet the sleeveless, jean jacket is still appropriate for the occasional warmer days. And of course, a look is never complete without an overabundance of accessories. The outfit above is paired with an ever-classic Hermes bracelet, Ray-Ban sunnies, uber cute animal print pumps, and a leather Givenchy clutch purse. Ultimately, this look is integral to wear as the weather crawls into cooler conditions.

Spring into Things

Jump into the Spring of things…wear yellow! Sometimes yellow is a hard color to pull off, especially for me. However, it exudes a springtime feeling and is absolutely adorable paired with white and/or black. I personally like to wear softer yellow hues, because it goes nicely with my lighter skin tone. Darker skin tones can pull off a brighter yellow, because the color won’t look too harsh on the skin. The outfit above certainly makes a springtime statement, and can be worn from day to night. I love how the black accessories contrast with the lighter hues that form the ensemble. So, what are you waiting for?! Give yellow a chance this season!

Tribal in the City

I hope you all are having an amazing day! Tribal & Aztec prints are such fun looks to sport, especially during the spring & summer months. I recently became OBSESSED with wearing the color Blue, and even splurged on several blue nail polish hues to suit my new found fixation. I was inspired by a specific street style ensemble when I put the above outfit together. How cute is the blue Chanel purse?!  I think the bright pink lipstick totally pops against the cooler tones of the outfit.  I also love how she styled a casual denim top with a more dressy skirt and metallic pumps.
