Black & Blue

Black & Blue
NEWS FLASH everyone: fall fashions are just around the corner. As fall approaches, it’s that time again to transition your everyday summer style, to more autumn-like threads. Yes everyone, this means no more shorts, crop tops, or sandals. As immensely sad as it may seem that summer is coming to a halt, I CANNOT wait to sport more cooler & deeper tones that embody the fall months.

Above is an awesome transitional ensemble that is well suited for the end of summer. The leather pants provide more coverage as the cooler temps dwindle in, yet the sleeveless, jean jacket is still appropriate for the occasional warmer days. And of course, a look is never complete without an overabundance of accessories. The outfit above is paired with an ever-classic Hermes bracelet, Ray-Ban sunnies, uber cute animal print pumps, and a leather Givenchy clutch purse. Ultimately, this look is integral to wear as the weather crawls into cooler conditions.

Who loves Short Shorts?!

WE love short shorts!!! Shorts can be SO fun! They can come in funky prints, consist of shiny studs, be high-waisted, or contain cool colors. Here are some shorts that I am in love with. To construct this list of fabulous shorts, I drew inspiration from my friends, my favorite brands, and Philadelphia street style. Which style is YOUR favorite?

Summer StateMINTs

Mint

My absolute FAVORITE trend that hit stores and runways this past spring is MINT! The glamorous color goes wonderfully with every skin tone and hair color. You can also wear any colored accessories with this trend as well. Whether it be silver, gold, black, or even red, mint looks perfect with just about everything. Thank goodness the Pantone color of the year is green (Emerald), because it has allowed me to incorporate green pieces into my wardrobe and become acquainted with my new favorite obsession, MINT!

Mint Pants

Do you believe that I don’t own a pair of mint skinny jeans?!?! I know, right? Don’t worry, because my whole spring/summer wardrobe consists of this green-ish hue. I am currently on a mission to find the perfect tone of mint skinny jeans that I could wear to death this season.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Even supermodels, like Alessandra Ambrosio (pictured above)

are flaunting the popular trend.
